Cap'n Geech graduated valedictorian of his class from Brown University, with majors in Physics and Feminist Philosophy. He served his planet in Galactic War II, rising from Lieutenant to Captain over the course of six years. After the war, while patroling Sector Z, his ship was intercepted by pirates. ALIEN PIRATES! After successfully evacuating in an escape pod, Geech found himself alone on an uncharted planet. It was at this time that he became aquainted with Japhy Ryder, a fellow earthling, who at the time was in a deep, spritual journey in meditation. "Get me the hell off this rock!" said Geech. "Scoop clear water on the heat of the fire", responded Ryder, not in the slightest disturbed by the intrusion. Once Ryder's meditation was complete, they returned to Earth in Ryder's ship. They proceeded to create music, not using the popular squeaky high notes, but instead opting for unattractive, growly low notes. In time, they were joined by Bob Cratchet, who had left his employer Ebeniezer Scrooge, allegedly for Scrooge's refusal to offer dental care. And, after adding Sister Bethany and Estaban to the mix, they are here, enlightened.
